----------------- July 29, 1989 v1.03ß
Code to toss netmail messages from within Type 2 packets complete. For
now, these messages are tossed to the PCB Base MAIL, which must be defined
in configuration. Flexibility to be added later. Encountering problems
receiving Type 1 packets. Temporary code to ignore other than Type 2
packets in place. Base packing enabled and working fine. Global, Echo,
and conference configurations integrated, temporary documentation started.
Preparing Beta release of packet tossing.
----------------- July 25, 1989 v1.02ß
Global configuration added, and echo control flexibility increased
dramaticly.
----------------- July 23, 1989 v1.01ß
Small bug removed from seek routines. XNet appears to work flawlessly,
unless a netmail message appears in an inbound fidonet packet. Echo system
control module re-enabled, and packet origin tracing started.
----------------- July 16, 1989 v1.01ß
Incredible increase in speed considering... A 400k packet now takes 40
mins. Bugs in message lengths, processing large packets, and detecting
mail messages in echomail packets. Development temporarily halted to
eliminate message base corruption causing pseudo-bugs in PCBGate, until
PCBGate is released.
----------------- July 15, 1989 v1.01ß
Much optimization done to packet reading efficiency, although translation
is a slow process anyways. Configuration module made stand alone, and
split into 2 new modules, Conference configuration and echo system control.
Flexibility for multiple Fido networks established <whew!>. Slow, but VERY
flexible.
----------------- July 9, 1989 - v1.0ß
Module to convert a Fido type 2 packet to *A* PCBoard base completed.
Configuration module added, and batch processing enabled. Conversion of a
400k packet takes 1 hour. <ugh!>
